The UFPA Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education (IEMCI), to which the PPGDOC is linked, maintains a cooperation agreement with the Pará State Secretary of Education (SEDUC / PA). This agreement, which is extensionist in nature, involves the completion of training courses and events aimed at training teachers to teach science in the field of basic education.

Activity description:
From 2008 to 2012, an exchange project was carried out between the Universidade Federal do Pará(UFPA), the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the State University of São Paulo “Júlio de Mesquita” (UNESP), through the National Program of Academic Cooperation (PROCAD / CAPES). This project brought important contributions to renew the Education in Science and Mathematics Graduate Program (PPGECM), from the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education (IEMCI) of UFPA, with the accomplishment of joint programs and teacher mobility. and graduate students.
